Now you buy more chips for $100 and continue to wager $80, only to lose your fourth hand in a row. This is common practice.  You are down $150 from a fourth progression bet. Again, you buy $150 in chips and do a fifth progression bet with $160, and to your dismay, you lose this one too. 

Buying in one more time and wagering $320, you lose AGAIN! How could this have possibly happened? You are now down $630, but of course after losing all those bets you’re “due”, and you desperately want to leave the table on a winning note, so you drop $640 and lose again for eight strait losses. From your original $10 bet, you are down $1270.

The best money management system is the time-tested and very simple practice of betting less when you are losing and more when you are winning. The casinos count on people “chasing” their losses after getting in a losing streak with even higher bets.

Our advice is to simply go slowly, look for small wins and don’t look for home runs. If you are winning steadily, make larger bets to maximize your winnings. Then leave when you are up on the casino. If you’ve doubled your money or even if you are only up 150%, take it and run!
